Spinal Decompression Therapy
What It Does
When vertebrae become compressed, oxygen and blood don’t flow as they should. Gentle traction decompresses the spine.
How It Works
Stretching the spine returns the body to its optimal alignment and promotes a healing environment for bulging, degenerating, or herniated discs.
What You'll Feel
You’ll lie clothed on a motorized table, the lower half of which can move. It slides back and forth to provide the traction. You shouldn’t feel pain, just a gentle stretching motion.
How Long It Takes
Decompression therapy typically consists of a series of 15 to 30 treatments over four to six weeks. A treatment lasts 15 to 30 minutes.

This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain to return the injured area to normal.”
How It Works
During each painless treatment, a cold laser, about the size of a flashlight, is placed directly over the injured area for several minutes. We are also one of the few clinics that are able to offer a robotic laser treatment that blankets the injured area with treatment. Light from the laser passes through the skin and interacts with the light-sensitive elements in cells to promote the healing and regeneration of damaged tissues.
What You'll Feel
Because it’s a “cold” laser, you won’t feel heat or any discomfort. It stimulates circulation in the area, which reduces inflation and accelerates healing.
How Long It Takes
Most people require 10-15 treatments over the course of four to eight weeks. A vast majority of our patients notice marked improvement after the first session. A typical laser treatment session is only about 5-15 minutes long, depending on the injury being treated.
